Involved in discussions specifically on issues pertaining to biology with Dr. Jyotsna Vijapurkar of the curriculum development team at the HBCSE developing alternate science curricula for Indian schools, (Aug 2001- Jul 2008).

Designed and conducted the “learn through a garden walk” during the Open Day organised by HBCSE each year from 2001 to 2008 on the occasion of the National Science Day, with an aim to draw attention of visitors to the rich biological diversity that exists in the HBCSE gardens.
