Experimental Project on Imagery/Visuo-spatial Cognition
Outline of the course:
Students will design and carry out a set of experiments in the domain of imagery/ visuo-spatial cognition, pursuing a definitive question. This will be a challenging project since students will be required to read recent literature related to their problem and conduct an experimental investigation leading to a better understanding of a reported result, or even a new result. They will be encouraged to implement the experiment in different cultural settings.
Students registering for the course will need some knowledge and familiarity with theories and experimental findings in the area of imagery/ visuo-spatial cognition as a prerequisite. Successful completion of the course on imagery and reasoning offered last semester would be a sufficient prerequisite.
